Cub Scouts

Be kind and helpful

Cub Scouts are for children aged 8 to 10 years old. In their Section, known as a Cub Pack, Cubs are split into smaller groups called “Sixes” where they get the chance to develop team and leadership skills.  Cub Scouts follow the Cub Scout Promise.  Their adventures include camping trips, crafts, outdoor exploration, and community service. Cub Scouts earn badges and awards for accomplishing various tasks, encouraging them to learn new skills and develop self-confidence.

Cub Leaders

  • Activity Badges: Cub Scouts can earn activity badges for exploring specific hobbies or interests, such as the Artist Badge, Scientist Badge, and Astronomer Badge
  • Cub Scout Challenge Awards: These awards are earned through a series of activities and challenges that test a Cub Scout's skills and knowledge. Examples include the Outdoor Challenge, Teamwork Challenge, and Global Challenge Awards.
  • Chief Scout's Silver Award: The highest award a Cub Scout can earn, this prestigious honor acknowledges a Cub Scout's dedication and accomplishments throughout their time in the pack
